This week has been busy helping my son-in-law campaign for County Council.  I love being asked to make my famous coleslaw and being put in charge of adding flowers to the tables.  It’s also been very, very windy and finally on Monday morning at exactly 7am this rainbow appeared in my back yard!  I knew it was going to be a great day so I posted it on Instagram.  Ever have signs like that appear for you?  Let’s connect on instagram!

Summer Inspirations!

As an entrepreneur who works from home, I try to send you important advice that helps you build a strong and successful business.   

As I drove to my Doc appointment this week, I thought I’d share some fun inspiration with you because I think it’s also important to create the “fun” into our work week. Remember, we don’t want to take life too seriously. After all, as entrepreneurs, we are blessed to enjoy what we do without a boss looming over our heads and more.

What I’m Blogging:  Create an Inspiring Workspace that enhances your productivity and motivation. Most importantly, feel organized and ready to start your day.   Read my blog and get inspired to give your office space a make-over.

What I’m Reading:  “Whatever it Takes” by Brandon Bornancin.  For many years in my coaching business and leading my teams, I had a motto I would share with them called the W.I.T.A.  It simply meant you had to run your business with a “Whatever it Takes Approach.”  I found this book and it doesn’t disappoint.  Get inspired with this summer reading.

What I’m Watching:  If you like a great story about surviving the holocaust and being a strong family, then watch the series. “We were the Lucky Ones.” You’ll find it so inspiring and the acting is amazing. 

What I’m Listening to:  I think I’ve found my favorite podcast this summer. It’s called “The Rest is History” and the two British guys who run it are so interesting and inspirational.  Right now, I’m listening to the whole story about how World War 1 started while doing my morning walk. 

What I’m Baking:  I found these little pie plates on Amazon and so now I make myself 3 little quiches instead of one big one and freeze them.  My quiches are made with a potato crust.  I simply slice up a potato thinly and place it in the bottom of the pie pan instead of a crust.
 

What I’m Knitting:  If you read my last newsletter, I talked about going down the knitting rabbit hole, and I’m having fun designing and knitting 40 stitch squares in different colors. 

What I see people planning:   I'm impressed when I see people get inspired about working with the 2024 Planner and my PURPOSEFUL PLANNER SYSTEM and ordering my Planner in July because there are six months to go!  If you're in the market for a Physical Planner, it's available.  

I hope these few things keep you inspired to have some summer fun while running a successful business.
