I’m back after a hiatus from sending you my weekly ezine. That’s because my darling husband went to heaven at the end of May.  He fought a long hard battle for a whole year. We were married 53 years and I will love him forever.  You will notice I don’t put this deeply personal news on any social media platforms, but I wanted you to know why I’ve been missing because you are all very special friends who I value highly on this email list. 

 

As I write this letter to you, the tears keep coming and I didn’t realize how much this has affected me emotionally, draining my can-do attitude and approach to life.  Michael knew me to be a person with purpose.  And the universe has revealed to me in the past 15 years that my purpose is to serve you who are in this wonderful industry of Direct Sales.

 

As I move forward and figure out life without him, I will be offering new and innovative online courses and coaching programs which I will reveal in the second half of 2021.  I’m always working on new strategies and systems to help you grow your business, increase your income and most of all serving others so they can be successful too.

Last month I coached my clients about this upcoming summer of opportunity and the opportunity is here!   The next three months are the most important months of the year. I call them the critical JJA months!  They are critical months for direct sellers because the momentum you build over these months sets you up for a very profitable last 4 months of the year.

 

What is important to remember is THIS summer, THIS summer is an opportunity like no other.  

 

This summer people are emerging from a long sleep.  They have been secluded and missing the interaction of getting together to smile at one another, listen to each other’s stories and having fun together within arm’s reach.  And what I’ve described is what happens at an IN-HOME PARTY!  That’s what we do so well.   We offer people an opportunity to be social, have fun and enjoy each other’s company in a unique social selling event.

 

In my Journey to Leadership MASTERMIND session we discussed these 5 steps to planning during a successful summer of opportunity.  

 

Set your intentions – What do you want to happen over the summer months in your business?

 

Set summer business hours – Find at least FIVE 3-hour blocks of team every week.

 

Offer fun, theme parties – Parties are the engine that runs your business.  Book theme parties that will attract hostesses in June, July, and August.

 

Focus on Summer Team Building – hold weekly recruiting conversations with people who are looking for an opportunity and have 10 new team members by September 1.

 

Schedule and plan Summer Social Media – be organized and schedule posts and most of all be consistent every week especially in your VIP Customer group.
