It’s a short week and here I am back in your inbox again.
I’ve had a chaotic two weeks and I’m so eager to get back to my routines. I have been dreaming of getting up every morning, going to my desk and knowing I have my action plan laid out for the day. That’s what summer does to us.
I find routines keep me sane, especially over these summer months. My rhythm is
- Mondays are writing and catching up days and receiving client accountability check ins.
- Tuesday through Thursday I time block around my coaching sessions
- Fridays are reserved for live video’s and batching for my you tube channel & Instagram
There are Three routines I recommend for the whole year, but especially in summer because our time changes daily with new schedules, summer holidays, weekend trips and more.
SUNDAY PLANNING routine. No matter what time of the year, I find Sunday planning is sacred! It’s one routine I never miss. Sometimes I do it early on Sunday or late before heading to bed, but I always make sure I start the week with a strategic plan. The three
basics I do are
- Set three goals to achieve by the end of the week.
- Write out a weekly to-do list.
- Schedule everything on my paper calendar and sync it with my phone calendar.
When I wake up Monday morning, I feel less stressed because I know in my head I’ve mapped out my week.
LOVE YOUR TO-DO LIST. My to-do list routine is a non-negotiable every week. A to-do list helps you be more organized. When you write out tasks you want to achieve each day, you can figure out if you have enough time to get it all done
The magic of this routine is making sure my to-do list is in aligned with my goals!
PRIORITIZE THE NIGHT BEFORE routine. This is one little hack that I found WORKS! Before I leave my office every day, I take a quick look at my calendar for tomorrow! I make sure my to-do list is synced with what needs to get done and I’m ready to enjoy my evening meal,
read my favorite book and sleep well because at the back of my mind I feel organized with tomorrow’s schedule.
