One of my clients caught herself in the middle of a sentence saying, “Yeah BUT…” I was so proud of her realizing she was putting up a barrier. She actually stopped herself in mid-sentence, she took a deep breath and smiled at me, and we both laughed at her brilliant realization knowing this new direction will take a lot of deep breaths to get through the “Yeah, BUT’s.”
