Hello, ,
A quick hello today to see how you’re doing? What’s helping you get through the day? I want to know!
I’m recommending to all my coaching clients to reach out with these words, “How are you doing?” and it’s proving to be successful. Many people who are stuck at home appreciate a quick text, email or instant message from someone who cares about them.
It may take a few days to go through your whole list, but during the time of isolation and self preservation, we need that human connection and we are so lucky we have the technology to stay connected.
This week I held my first LUNCH & LEARN MASTER CLASS. It was a hit… We talked about tech tools to use and how to transfer what we know to go online. I had a great time with the people who were LIVE in the class discussing my 8 Techniques to holding a successful ONLINE party. This was recorded with my handouts and workbooks, if you’re
interested. It’s available here!
I’m working on April Masterclass as we speak.
I’ve been going LIVE a lot in my Facebook Groups. I’m doing PEP TALKS for my coaching clients and HOTLINE tips for my Facebook community. I think the more you share your lovely face with customers and team members, the more we’ll get through this
together.
Now we have time, reading is high on the list, right? So, I blogged about my 5 Top books I recommend for Direct Sellers now! I think you’ll love it. You can access it here.
I listened to Kindra Hall today and she had the best suggestion. She said, “Start journaling now!” I bet you know where you were when 9/11 happened? But do you remember the aftermath? I remember, my husband lost his job, we had
to make adjustments, and they were life changing adjustments. My direct sales business was moving to the million-dollar level, so I worked on bonding and building a stronger community, but I didn’t write down my feelings, my thoughts at the time.
This is an unprecedented time in our history of the world. Kindra says to write about how you’re feeling. What’s happening at home in your family. My first journal entry today is..
“So grateful my daughters are happy and safe at this time. My daughter, Nicole, called and said she’s doing a Costco run, but they are only allowing 10 people in the store at a time – better get my list ready. Fiona texted from Los Angeles asking how to create an E-book, and Alexandra dropped off two puzzles at the front door for dad
and I to tackle. And, I’m loving our family group text with pics of everyone’s activities at home!”
I wonder what your first journal entry will be? Don’t forget to reply to this email and let me know how you’re doing? I want to know!
Love & Success to you,
Gale Bates, Your “Make the Leap” Mentor
