I had just finished my presentation and invited my first guest to sit down at my check-out table.
My planner lay wide open on the desk dotted with green post it notes. It was very visible next to my ipad.
I smiled at her, and said, “I love your earrings they go perfectly with your outfit today.”
Immediately she beamed at me.. “Thank you, these are my favorites because they were a gift from my husband.”
I reached for her Favorites handout and said, “Let’s see what products you loved today. Oh my, you chose some amazing things on your list.”
She kept smiling at me, and said, “Thank you, I loved your presentation and learned so much today.” I continued, “Well, I see you have 8 things on your favorites list, what would you like to order today?”
This is the beginning of what I call the CALENDAR CONFIDENCE strategy! It’s a strategy I’ve been using to have successful high sales at my parties and also get two future bookings.
If you re-read the words above, you’ll notice that I complimented my client TWICE in the space of a few seconds. Compliments break down barriers and build relationships and trust! This is one of the important areas of your party and it’s one of my 8-steps to having a successful party.
