It’s conference time in the Direct Sales world and I’m so proud of many of my coaching clients who are in the TOP 10 in their companies. I love seeing them be recognized for their efforts. But most of all, I get goosebumps when I see how many of these clients earn their amazing trip incentive award.
One thing I know, when I see a woman walk across the stage to earn an award, there’s an immediate change in her! She not only has a beaming smile on her face, she stands taller, she walks with purpose because she knows she set her goals, she worked hard and smart and she achieved the ultimate prize. ever planned for herself and her spouse, but the biggest reward is knowing she’ll be on that trip with like-minded people! I
Trip incentive winners achieve their goals because of three things!
- They Make a Commitment. They set their goals, the plan and make a commitment to achieve them by a specific deadline. It’s that “commitment” that makes the difference between a winner and a loser.
- They are always consistent. They understand the activity they must take – day in and day out – to hit their monthly sales goal. This not only means keeping their calendar full of bookings, it also means stepping up and many times out of their comfort zone. Making those connections no matter how they feel. They step up, they create their way to connect as authentic as
possible and do it consistently every week.
- They Never give up! This is the toughest one because it’s so easy to give up on hitting a specific sales goal every month. I have witnessed my coaching clients get to the 25th of the month, and so determined to make that goal, they take action and pull it out of a hat! They learn that it’s important to front load your month as much as possible, but when it’s 5 days
to go, they still don’t give up!
