I was in the midst of a team get-together when I got a call from the VP of sales. She was calling to congratulate me on being the top Team in the country for recruiting in the month of April! We had recruited over 27 team members into our team that month and I was ecstatic.
She asked me, “Gale, how did you do this? I’d love to learn how you helped your team step up from recruiting a few people a month to sponsor 27 in this one month?”
I answered her with one word.
“Honestly, is comes down to one word and that word is “consistency.” I work with my Calendar Club system which helps me communicate consistently every day, every week, every month with my team, and they have implemented. They are loving my support when they receive my consistent
communication.”
So, let me share with you these THREE consistent communication tools…
#1 Consistent Daily communication – I had a daily hotline where EVERY DAY (yes, no Facebook back then, but it was similar to leaving a message for my team every day.) In this daily hotline, I left a
voice message with a tip or inspiration to keep the team members inspired to take action.
#2 Consistent Weekly email – This made an impact as it was full of recognition and people loved to see their names on the team booking calendar and get recognized for many things big and
small.
#3 Consistent Monthly Team meetings. I worked hard on making my team meetings exciting, energetic and inspiring. This led to great attendance. Lots of reaching out and follow up and building
relationships with my team so we had a fantastic turnout every month. ( see my Team meeting training.)
These THREE tools of communication are all you need to engage your team to support them in being consistent. It’s not rocket science, it so simple, we think we need some kind of magic words or brilliant ideas, but if you’re just consistent, never missing one daily message in your Team Facebook group, or one weekly email or one
team meeting, you’ll notice your team will respond.
