Here’s the Blog link on three approaches to
Making money in your Direct Sales Biz. I think you’ll find this instrumental if you follow the tips on documenting your business activities.
My YouTube episode is about my simple system to keeping records of money coming in which is your revenue and money going out which is your expenses and whether you're making a profit or loss each month. In this video, I share with you three of the WORK SMART WORKSHEETS that help you track your activities. Catch it here.
How much would a $1000 extra income make a difference in your life? What would you do with it? Would you pay off debt? Would you save it? Would you change the way you live – maybe buy a new car?
Have you ever listened to Steve Job’s address to Stanford University graduating class? It’s on you tube. He talked about connecting the dots in your life. He shared when he looked back at how he dropped out of college because he wasn’t interested in the subjects, and then dropped back in when he found the subject of calligraphy that was exciting and interesting for him to learn. He connected the dots when he shared how that calligraphy class was
extremely instrumental in designing his first MAC!
If you have a Direct Sales business, you have the opportunity to make a difference in your life with an extra $1000 a month income. The beauty of Direct Sales is there’s a specific business model – and if you follow it you can easily earn that extra $1,000 income every month. But you have to LOVE it! You have to love helping people! You have to love making a difference and solving people’s problems with your products, and your business
opportunity.
Three ways I recommend to earn $1,000 extra a month!
- The Easy way - Hold a SIX-PACK of parties. This is what I call the MAGIC SUCCESS formula to grow your Direct Sales Business. When you hold six parties, you have the opportunity to sell to about 40 to 50 people over the month. Party sales run high and low, but if you work with your hostess in getting the “right” people to the party your average is around $550 or more. $550 x 6 parties = $3,300. If you commission is
at 30% that’s $990 income with six parties. Deciding to make sure your SIX parties are over $600 in sales will assure you of that $1,000 income.
- The Hard way – Some people say they don’t like to do parties, and only sell one-on-one with people. They spend way more time working one-on-one with people. Thirty three $100 orders will get you to $3,300 in sales. A lot of work wouldn’t you say?
- The Smartest way – is to work both and begin to build a team. Holding 6 parties every month and adding one-on-one appointments with new clients will expand your client base and deepen relationships with customers and hostesses. This leads to people interested in joining your team. So, now you’re not only earning income from sales, but also from recruiting and moving up to leadership.
Now, you know it’s not all about numbers, it’s about having the mindset to take action every day. It’s about being generous with your time in helping people learn how your products make a difference in their life. It’s easy to get discouraged, when we get a few “no’s” or people seem disinterested, but if you plan out your month (using a planner like my Direct Sales Planner system)
and stay focused on hitting a sales goal of around $3,300 every month, great things will happen in your business.
I have the amazing pleasure of helping direct sellers earn $1,000 income (plus) every month! One client said to me …
I am so grateful for all the wonderful things that happened because I listened to you when you told me to expect great things with my business. Here’s what happened…
This year because of my Direct Sales business
- I paid off my living room furniture loan.
- I was able to decrease our credit card debt.
- I won a trip incentive!
- We were able to access some affordable health insurance.
- I purchased a newer vehicle to drive to my parties – yay!
- I sponsored my first team member.
- My daughter’s student loan is nearly paid off.
- I am helping my youngest son through his first year of college.
- I have more “self confidence” and feel more content because I’m contributing to our family’s financial future.
As Steve Job’s said, “It was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when he was in college, but it was very clear looking backwards ten years later. You have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.”
Think about the past six months of your business and what you’ve achieved. Even if you just started your business and made your first sale, or you got out of your comfort zone and talked to someone about your business. If you commit to earning that $1000 a month working the magic six pack formula above, you’ll begin to connect the dots and make an impact on your life like my clients.
