It’s SPRING BREAK! Some of us get to fly off to exotic locations and learn to ski and go ice fishing, the
rest of us get to stay home and get into some serious reading. (Like yours truly!)
What are your plans for Spring Break? But seriously, reading is what gave me my best advice in growing my million-dollar team, and this week I
thought I’d share with you the 6 top reads I recommend for every Direct Seller, and you may have to search the archives of Amazon to find a couple of them, but it will be worth your while.
- Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. It still mystifies me that people haven’t read this book. I read it once a year and have copious notes that I always refer to in many coaching sessions. If you adhered to the 13 Principles in this book, you would be at the top of your comp plan in record time.
- The One Thing by Gary Keilor & Jay Papasan. This little book will have an enormous impact on “how” you work in today’s world of millions of distractions. They help you choose the ONE THING to work on every day in your business that matters most! And you’d be surprised how it helps you get things done.
- 17 Secrets of the Master Prospect by John Kalench. You may have to find a used copy of this on Amazon, but if you can it will revolutionize your recruiting. I followed the principles in this book that helped me become a top recruiter in my company, and they still hold true today.
- Success Happens by Dr. Tom Barrett. The wisdom in this book comes to you in snippets. I find myself sharing this wisdom with every coaching client. The big share is 15 minutes to financial freedom that truly works.
- The Referral of a Lifetime, Tim Templeton. This is a
Ken Blanchard series that helps your FOLLOW-UP! This is the fortune in your business and Tim shows you how to network with a keep in touch system that is solid gold.
- The Success Principles by Jack Canfield. This is the book to have in your library that you get to open at any page any day any time and get the best
advice to be successful. Jack’s principles keep you sane, e.g. I opened the book right now, and it says, “Transform your inner critic into your Inner Coach.” Exercise to help you talk to yourself as a winner!
I recommend you choose ONE AT A TIME of these six amazing tomes and keep them in your back pocket. That’s, of course, if you’re serious about growing your business to the top of your comp. plan. Are you?
