5 Ways to Streamline your Summer Biz (Free Offer Inside)!
Published: Wed, 06/14/17
Hello ,
This was the first of our summer sunset this week as we enjoyed a steak fry on the beach, great music, and good company with the Kawaihae Canoe Paddling group. Summer brings a whole new
feeling of laid back activity and unfortunately, laid back activity means laid back business. I’ve heard it called the “Summer Slump” when people think that nobody wants to book parties, nobody wants to join our team syndrome. You couldn’t be farther from the truth with this thinking so read how to switch this mindset with your team in my FEATURE ARTICLE below. And at the end of the article I have a SPECIAL OFFER where you have the opportunity to BE THE
FIRST!
This week, I had a ton of fun brainstorming SUMMER Theme party ideas with my coaching clients in the L.E.A.P. GROUP COACHING PROGRAM.
This is a group of dedicated and committed leaders who are getting results in their business because they know the value of consistency.
Read more about Summer Theme parties on my blog this week here.

5 Ways
to Streamline your Summer Business

Expectations and limiting beliefs! As I mentioned above many people get it in their heads that no-one is interested in holding a party or hearing about
an opportunity that might change their life. If you’re not vigilant with your thoughts, you can buy into this thinking. Instead set the expectation with yourself and your team members. In fact, summer offers more opportunities because you are hanging out in different places like the park, summer fairs, summer farmer’s markets just to name a few. So, set the expectation with yourself and your team that there are people who are waiting to meet you to hear more about your amazing offer.
It’s “your business” create “your” business hours. This is the TOP secret to keeping your momentum during the summer. We are entrepreneurs because we don’t like to beat the drum of 9 to 5, we like flexibility! The flexibility to work when “we” want to work. OWN YOUR OWN business hours this summer! Working 15 hours a week is the minimum amount of time needed to work a successful direct sales business. How will you fill
your 15 hours with parties, recruiting appointments, one-on-one’s, follow up and admin work? Make it happen with careful planning.
Take advantage of new summer connections. Summer networking can have a huge impact on your business! There are many organizations to visit, to join and meet new people. One of my clients is enjoying $100 a week in sales from her networking organizations. This summer do your research and
find the right networking group for you. Build new relationships at neighborhood barbecues, meet up with friends you haven’t connected with for a while. Talk to moms when picking up kids from camp. Bottom line, talk to people! The networking opportunities are massive!
Creative partying. The word “Summer” is contiguous with the word “Fun!” Get creative with ways to party over the summer. Summer theme parties get people
excited to have fun with their friends. Now you’ve set your business hours and working when it fits in with your summer schedule focus on having fun $1,000 party sales engaging people to have a fun, learning and shopping experience with you at a Margarita party where they enjoy sipping margaritas and taking on a quiz on how to make one, or a Pool or Patio party where guests wear their favorite summer hats and everyone chooses a prize for the best hat!
Find a summer accountability partner! Team up with someone who will hold you to what you “say” you want to do with your business. An accountability partner can be of huge value to keep your momentum going over summer. Choose someone who is as committed to you. Agree that this is not a social time, this is a time to serve each other. Set a time to talk every week!
So these are 5 ways to
streamline your summer business. If you decide to be laid back with your business this summer, you will lose your momentum and the scary thing is you will have to start all over again in the fall if you want to build it back up. That’s why momentum is crucial. Set the expectations with your team! Be a positive example and your team will see your drive and your activity and they will follow you in keeping their momentum going as well.
To help you with your summer momentum I have created a special FREE webinar for leaders and teams of 10 plus team members.
YOU are the first to know about this! This information will be broadcast over social media in a few days, but I wanted to offer it to you first!
