In Sarah Ban breathnach’s book, “Simple Abundance” she says, “April begins the
season of “Light!” In the garden primroses, pansies, violets and tulips burst with color. Each flower and plant bears profound witness to the power of authenticity. In this month of April we grow gracefully, creatively and joyously into our authentic selves, awakening to our own beauty.”
As you can see from the picture above, we celebrated a beautiful event with two authentic souls, my daughter and her new husband! FEATURE ARTICLE: When you help others get what they want!
This is a variation on Zig Ziglar’s original quote, but it was my team mantra in growing to the million dollar level. I remembered this specific quote this month when two of my coaching clients zoomed to achieve their goals ahead of their timeline. That’s because they were so focused on “helping others” be successful, they accomplished much more than they thought they could.
This is why I am so passionate about this amazing industry of direct sales. It’s such a simple formula for success. One of my key million dollar strategies (and there are 10) was to have the most national incentive winners from my team! It was this premise that contributed to our
team hitting a million dollars in sales. Hitting 6-month national incentive targets took focus and commitment, but once these women decided they wanted to earn these awards, all I had to do was support their success!
Let’s look how we help others get what they want.
We help MOMS earn income so they can be home with their babies and work flex hours around their family and
life.
We help people who have high credit card bills, get out of debt.
We help people save and take their family on a trip to Disneyland, Europe or Australia.
We help women have their own income to spend.
We help people who hate their “corporate job” and want to replace this income with a fun job.
We help people build their confidence speaking
in front of others.
We help people organize their life sharing proven systems to run their business.
We help people grow their personal development learning leadership skills.
People join direct sales because they have a specific reason. Whether it’s earning extra income or just growing friendships, or building a million dollar team.
Everyone comes to this industry with their own special skills and talents and when they share those special skills and talents with others they are being “of service” to others.
I know many of you
reading this understand the premise. Because when you help others, you are rewarded!
You are rewarded for making a difference in people’s lives.
You have a sense of fulfillment from doing good work in the world.
That’s what happens when you help others be successful!
Today, think about your
business and how much success YOU want? Then, come from this place of helping others. Shift your mindset to serving others. When you move your mindset to focus on how many people you must be “of service” to, you have made a commitment to play a much, much bigger game!
