2017?
Here I am preparing a salmon dish for our Christmas dinner. This fish was caught by one of my grandsons and I was carefully adding shallots, green onions, parsley and lemon juice to bring out the flavor as it baked. You can see my focus and concentration on getting this right and
it reminded me of the 7-day Post it Note planning exercise I did with my L.E.A.P. Group Coaching clients in December. The first POST-IT note question was “What is your WORD for 2017? I have always loved using a THEME WORD each year to help me stay focused on achieving my goals. I even had a word or words for our TEAM so we would
all move forward together in achieving great things as a team.
I call your THEME WORD your DRIVER! It drives you to
plan
schedule
make the right decisions,
TAKE ACTION, and
get RESULTS!
Here are some of the great THEME WORDS, I’m seeing
for 2017.
FOCUS - is about concentrating and paying attention to the most important actions. Most of all not getting distracted by bright shiny objects and working your plan.
EXPLOSIVE - a power word that means you are ready to take action. You are looking for dramatic growth! Changes are happening with
action, action, action!
ABUNDANT -is all about prosperity thinking and letting go of scarcity thinking. Abundant means you know there is enough to go around and you can bring in the revenue you want.
STELLAR - this is an outstanding word. You’re ready to be a star
performer and stand out and dazzle everyone this year.
INCREASE – another great driver word because you are ready to grow and expand. This word will be a great reminder in all areas of selling, booking and recruiting and growing a team.
CONSISTENCY – is a great word to inspire you to create a solid schedule with some good
habits and routines. You are being organized and planning which are the keys to success.
GROWTH – is one of those words that will help you expand, increase and take action in your business. It is a good DRIVER word as it is a word driven by action. With this word you will be ready to step up and step out to have a thriving business in 2017.
BRAVE - is about being courageous in all your endeavors in your business. It’s about stepping out of that comfort zone and challenging yourself to go beyond. Feeling the fear and doing it anyway.
SOAR- is the word to remind you to rise high and lift yourself above the clouds. To reach for that top career level or aim high for that top position. Go
for it! Soar high!
SERVICE – is when you’re ready for great rewards. In our Direct Sales business, being “of service” in everything you do means you will be fulfilled in all areas of selling, booking, recruiting and building leaders.
SYSTEMATIZE – is one of my favorites as I’m such a systems person. This
word will show you are ready to be purposefully productive and organized in maximizing every part of your business in 2017.
UNSTOPPABLE – if you choose this word for 2017, you will be on fire and you will succeed in achieving ALL your goals.
DREAM BIG - some people prefer more than one word.
DREAM BIG are two words that will propel you to reach major benchmarks in your business this year.
GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY – These words are big drivers that many people know this is the one reason that holds them back. Using these words will motivate you to be bold, be courageous and most of all be successful.
And now for MY WORD for 2017….
SHINE for me this word will remind me to be shine the light on others. It will inspire me to stand out with my purpose in
helping my coaching clients to be successful in growing and learning to help others. It will be my DRIVER to get organized, plan more and radiate positive and meaningful blog posts, videos about growing a successful direct sales business.
