One of the most important areas of your life is taking some time for you, to increase your professional development. The books in the picture above are books I refer to over and over again. They are books that helped me gain insights, have mind shifts and played a crucial role in building my million-dollar team.

I believe leaders are readers and information can change your life. The

Book Review


One of the most common problems I hear today from my clients is “Time Management.” That’s because we are inundated with “information” every second of the day with emails, texts, tweets, messages and more.  All of this is what stresses us out and we feel like we are not managing our time well.


We are always looking for more productive ways  to live our lives from healthy living to exercise to family time, and not to mention running a business.  I know I work on productivity every day to get more out of my day.  


The answer lies in this little book called, “The ONE THING.”  The authors take you through a story of frustration in the beginning of the book to show you the effects of going small and narrowing your focus.  


They say when you go as small as possible, you’ll be staring at ONE THING!  That’s when you do what you should do and get results without feeling stressed or in overwhelm.  


They talk about to-do lists and SUCCESS LISTS!   (I love success lists) And working with the 80/20 rule to get things done.  Again narrow it down to your 20% and figure ONE thing to do that will help you move forward on your journey to success.


There’s even a time-blocking chapter and many of you who work with my DIRECT SALES PLANNER (see above)  know the value of doing my Time Blocking exercise every week to be productive and get things done.


My favorite chapter in this book is the Three Commitments.


  • COMMIT to do your best and focus on mastery

  • COMMIT to being purposeful

  • COMMIT to being accountable to yourself and achieving your goals.
