"Swim in your Own Lane with a Success Formula"
Sometimes, I think we forget what we truly LOVE about being a Direct Sales Entrepreneur. One of the things I LOVED when I first joined
was the opportunity to grow my business in every State in the nation! Coming from Hawaii, that was a huge territory to me and it truly got me excited to get up every morning and map out my white board with circles and squares on which State I was planning to conquer next!
Sometimes we don’t realize the opportunity that was handed to us by our sponsor was the BEST
thing that happened. We let those little voices in our head get the better of us and think things like
“this is so hard!” or
“I wish I had won the company incentive trip.” or
“I’m sad because my upline has disappeared.” or
“Why does earning $2,000 a month seem impossible!”
We see others streaming ahead, sponsoring and growing their team and we
get distracted by bright shiny objects we really don’t need.
We forget the great reasons why we joined direct sales. Here are a few reminders for you today…
You joined because you LOVE being your own boss. You don’t have to answer to someone who is watching your work performance. You initiate your own daily activities and see your own results in your business.
You LOVE working your own flexible hours. You’re not clocking in every
morning or clocking out at 5. You work the hours you want and enjoy doing this around important family and lifestyle events.
You LOVE running your business from home. You don’t have to rush to get dressed for work and out the door, grabbing coffee on the way. You actually get to choose whether to eat early or late depending on the
work you initiate for yourself for the day.
You LOVE running your business the way you want. You get lots of support and encouragement from your company, your leader, your team mates, but in the end you get to run your business how “you” want to run
it.
It’s important to remember these reminders, and as you work your business every day and swim in your own lane. Don’t worry what others are doing! Don’t get distracted by bright shiny objects.
This is your journey and your path is laid out for you so stay true to you and keep within those two lane bars like those Olympic swimmers.
They swim focused on staying in their own lane - no distractions - no negative thoughts - just total focus on winning the
race.
It’s also important to have a SUCCESS path to follow! In my L.E.A.P. Group Coaching program we focus on a simple “Success Formula.”
That formula is made up of 5 activities we consistently follow every day. They are
Hold parties! If you aren’t holding parties and I mean “live” parties with Hostesses then you’ll definitely find yourself moving at a very slow pace.
Get future bookings. When you work with my “calendar confidence” system and have a full calendar every month.
Find recruit leads to grow a team, master this skill.
Follow up with recruit leads after parties. We call them BIG M.A.C. (Morning after calls)
Schedule coffee chat conversations with qualified recruit leads.
Then, it’s simply, RINSE AND REPEAT!
There’s no looking sideways, or backwards, there’s only the ONE LANE ahead. Know that you
can be successful when you swim in your own lane and follow a success formula.
