I know you’ll be celebrating with your family and friends this week. But, I challenge you to find a quiet 30 minutes of time in the next 10 days before the New Year. Close your office door, and take a minute (30 if you can) to “think” about the upcoming year ahead.
Setting goals and planning involves examining your purpose in running your direct sales business. The simple exercise of writing down your “be, do, have” list will help you focus on your dreams and goals for your business in 2016. Ask yourself:
- Who would I like to
“Be?”
- What would I like to “Do?”
- What would I like to “Have?”
This is kind of like your bucket list. List every single thing you want to
- “BE” in your business,
- “DO” in your business, and
- “HAVE” in your business.
No rules. Be honest, and dream big!
- Consider what you want from your relationships with customers, hostesses, team
members.
- Where you want to go in your business starting in the New Year.
- The money you want to make.
- How you want to spend your
time.
- Do you want your business to pay for trips, pay off debt?
- What experiences do you want to have?
Keep your “Be, Do, Have” list with you and keep
writing. It doesn’t matter if this list changes tomorrow, just go with what you know today.
Keep it in a place where you look at it at least FOUR TIMES a year. You’ll be surprised how many things may actually happen because you took the time to write them down.
