I am so GLAD it’s 2016!

Happy New Year!  Are you ready to “Make it Happen” in 2016?  The boys are enjoying their new games on their Ipads for Christmas.  It is a very quiet activity that I love as they give it their total focus and most of the time they are on a mission to WIN!    I’m on a MISSION myself as you’ll read in my FEATURE article below this week, I hope you read it and do the small exercise at the end of the article, I think you’ll find it will help you stay on track with your goals to “Make it Happen” in 2016.

I am on a Mission!
It’s 2016 and I’m on a mission to inspire and encourage 100 direct sales entrepreneurs to grow and build successful businesses so they can make a difference for others.  That’s what we do in direct sales.

It is called the POWER OF ENCOURAGEMENT. 

Do you remember when your sponsor encouraged you at your FIRST launch party?  I’m guessing it was the first time you received that kind of special support and recognition.  You were so amazed because it made you feel really good that you’d done something right!   It was the reason why you went on to book more parties and win the first fast start level in your first 30 days.

Perhaps, you didn’t have a launch party,  but  received a small gift in the mail with a special note from your leader with encouraging words about your first $500 party, or your first recruit. 

It’s this special encouragement that makes the difference between a successful leader and one who says,

  • I wish I could “motivate” my team, or
  • My team is not “motivated” by my incentives, or
  • My team is dead, they are not “motivated.”  I need a new team.

The truth is you can’t “motivate” anyone, but you can “INSPIRE” them! 

Simon Sinek says,
“The true value of a leader is not measured by the work they do. A leader’s true value is by the work they INSPIRE others to do!”
There are many, many ways to INSPIRE your team.  Here are just a few.

You INSPIRE your team when you recognize a new recruit in her first 30 days when she holds her first launch party.

You INSPIRE your team when you encourage and support a new recruit to achieve the fast start awards program in her first 30/60/90 days.

You INSPIRE your team when you offer words of wisdom for a team member who is struggling to get bookings.

You INSPIRE your team when you mention their success in your newsletter. 

You INSPIRE your team when you send  a team member a “handwritten” note of appreciation.

You INSPIRE your team when you share a quick story in your TEAM Facebook group about a team member’s successful party.

 
Inspire your team INTENTIONALLY!
My Coaching clients who lead their teams using the CALENDAR GIRLS Team Booking system are INSPIRING their team “intentionally” every week. 

They set THREE team goals.  A Team booking goal. A TEAM Recruiting Goal and a TEAM Sales Volume Goal. Everyone on the team contributes to these goals and they are inspired to work towards a common TEAM goal. 

They follow a three-step communication strategy that supports each team member individually for their contribution to the team success.

The truth is you can truly impact a person’s life with a little bit of inspiration.  Every day, ask yourself

Who can I ENCOURAGE today? When a team member receives words of encouragement, she feels good about herself and is inspired.

Who can I INSPIRE today? When a team member is inspired because you recognized her value, she builds her confidence

Who can I send LOVE to today? When a team member knows you care about her and love her contributions to the team, she is inspired to build her business.

This is why I’m on a MISSION!  Leaders who add value intentionally, are the leaders who make a difference every day.     This is the kind of impact people have in our direct sales industry and it’s why I’m so PASSIONATE about finding 100 direct sales entrepreneurs who want to GROW to the top of their company!
