Hello ,
How lucky am I to see these two gorgeous grandsons every week.  I see them grow, hear their fun words, watch them find Jackson chameleons in my garden and go silly when we have sleepovers. Some people believe luck is accidental and happens to others,  but I believe luck is a choice and we get to choose to increase the chances of luck by making decisions every day in our business.

 How lucky are you?
How many people have a boss who says, “If you do your job and sell and recruit over the next few months, I’ll give you and your partner a trip on a luxurious cruise liner, or 5 nights in a beautiful tropical setting. 

I have an amazing product line for you to sell and I will support and encourage you all the way. When you earn this reward, you’ll not only win this fantastic trip, we’ll elevate you to a Leader position and earn  more rewards to increase your income!”

This is what I call LUCK!   This is one of the great benefits of being in Direct Sales.  Your company wants you to succeed by offering these incredible, amazing rewards.  All you have to do is plan, focus and execute the plan.    

How lucky are you?  It’s a huge benny or perk that so many consultants tend to think, “I’ll never be able to sell that much.”  Some people get really excited and start the first month, then get distracted and let it go and by the third month they have lost the dream.    Here are 7 “lucky” steps to earn this awesome, generous reward.

Step 1.  Set the intention and plan.  Figure the amount of sales and the number of recruits you need to win the trip.  Plan how many parties it will take to hit the sales goal within the amount of time. Be clear with the number of recruits you need in that time frame.  Recruiting is about making new friends and building a team of friends who want to travel on a journey in Direct Sales with you.  Your intention is to believe in what you are offering. Set your intention and commit to selling and recruiting requirements is the first step.  Then planning the exact amounts you need to hit every month gives you a path to follow for the time of the incentive period.

Step 2.  Visualize Get a white board in your office and plan a booking tree.  How many parties will it take to complete the sales requirement?   Create a special TRIP vision board and cut out pictures of the people you want to join your team.  Look at these visuals every day and replace   a picture of the “real” person when you recruit her.  This really works!  Visualizing is part of manifesting your dreams and goals and winning the incentive.
 
Step 3.  A calendar full of bookings.  Bookings don’t fall out of the sky, it takes dedication in filling your calendar.  Focus on booking bids at parties and fill in the gaps with creative bookings.  It’s proven that we find the best recruits at parties.  If you have a full calendar of 10 parties every month, and there is an average of 6-8 people at every party, you have the opportunity to share with 150 people each month.  Be committed to holding 10 parties every month. Everything in your direct sales business comes from your party.

Step 4.  See the People   Look and listen!  What kind of person do you want on your team? Make a list of qualities and character traits of your ideal recruit.  Is she fun, positive, independent, happy, loves your product and needs extra income? Once you know who you’re looking for, you will see your next prospect. Listen at your parties!  Listen and your next recruit will be revealed to you. 
 
Step 5.  Become an expert at interviewing Build friendships over coffee sharing your opportunity.  In other words become an expert interviewer.  Study your compensation plan and listen to what women want at every interview.  This is the ONE skill you want to excel in to become a master recruiter. 
Learn the details of this important skill in the “Recruiting Blueprint System.”  In this system you learn how to follow a proven formula for success that helps you focus on earning the recruits you need to earn your trip.  You’ll also learn the ins and out of marketing online and offline to attract the ideal prime prospects you want.  Most of all you’ll understand the importance of making recruiting a top priority in your business so you’re consistently adding business builders to your team.
 


Step 6 Do it as often as possible. Create a sense of urgency in your business. Top
winners in every company are successful because of one thing.  They execute with a
sense of urgency.  They don’t say, “I’ll do it tomorrow.”   Take 100% responsibility
approach to your business, work on high revenue activities every day, and you will easily earn your trip rewards.

Step 7.  Find an accountability partner.  Having an accountability partner who also wants to earn the trip can raise your productivity and help you stay on target with your monthly goals.  When you have an accountability partner, you’ll find you get things done by deadlines you have set for yourself.  Come to an agreeable time to talk weekly or bi-weekly to support each other and keep each other on target.  Maybe you choose an accountability partner who is a support person, like hiring a coach or mentor.  Either way, having someone who wants to help you be successful will keep you focused with that “sense of urgency” you need to achieve the trip incentive.
