Friday is coming VERY soon. In fact 10 days! Take note of the strategy I suggest for you and your team for the busiest selling day of the year in my feature article below. Get ready to decorate your home and IMPLEMENT this important strategy so you and your team can have a record breaking November! Over the next six weeks you will be making connections with people you meet at holiday events, social get-togethers and business

Black Friday is Coming Soon! Are you ready
for the HOTTEST selling retail day of the year? Black Friday is only 10 days away. Black Friday is the Friday following Thanksgiving in the United States and is often regarded as the beginning of the Christmas Shopping season. It has routinely been the busiest shopping day of the year since 2005. As a direct seller do you want to be in the “red” or the “black” on Black Friday? Being in the “red” means
you spend the day shopping and getting bargains for yourself, or perhaps you’d rather be in the “black” and use that time to hold your own Black Friday Event.
In our LEAP Group Coaching program we are working on a to-do list over the months of November, December and January to create a powerful transition from 2014 to 2015 and one of the strategies on the list for November is to encourage all team members to hold their own “Black Friday” Event.
On this
Friday, people are out and about heading to shopping malls, share with your team how to let their customers know to stop by for a free cup of hot chocolate or apple cider and start their shopping day in the quiet of their own home BLACK FRIDAY event. Some team members may be a little overwhelmed thinking they have to go ALL out like the big retailers. Share these simple steps to encourage team members to be in the “Black” on Black Friday with their own
event.
Decorate for the Holidays. Getting your home ready for this event gets your customers in the holiday mood for shopping. Special Invitation: Send out special
invitations and promote on social media and set the hours for the event. Share information about gift giving sets and the perfect gifts available especially for (Teachers, mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, etc. ) Ask each guest to bring a friend, and offer a special gift for her and her friend. Be sure to specify the TIME of the event. Set up. Create a festive environment. Set up different stations for people to wander and enjoy different product
themes. Give everyone a draw ticket as they arrive for a special drawing. Add extra “fun” holiday props. Serve “hot Chocolate” or “Apple Cider” holiday drinks. Hostess Coach yourself. Teach team members to follow up before the event to get confirmations. Usually a phone call or text the day before the event ensures good attendance. Optional idea is to send a postcard asking them to bring for a door prize
drawing. Promote on Social Media. Write small posts about your upcoming “Black Friday Event.” Talk about the prizes you’re offering. Build excitement about the holiday products and your gift giving ideas. Share lots of information about how your products help your customers feel good and look good. If you have a blog, write about it. You might want to create a SPECIAL page event on Facebook to share all the goodies you’ll be offering at the
event. Offer Specials only for BLACK FRIDAY. One of my CG Academy members is offering 25% off between 9-11am, 20% 11-2, 15% 2-3, 10% 3-4, 5% 5-6. This determines what time you’ll have your largest attendance. Your Presentation Create an eye-catching product display for guests to view. Hand out Holiday Gift Giving Wish lists for guests when they arrive. - Have JANUARY Hostess packets available and share your generous Hostess Program (Get your first 10 hostesses booked for 2015.)
- Set up stations with specific “gift sets” and product gift arrangements.
- Offer a booking bid. “Ladies, I’d love to help you get this (product) for free when you have a fun get together with your friends.”
- Plant a recruiting seed. “I’m expanding my business in (name an area). Who do you know who’s looking for extra income. I love having cash flowing in my family budget every week.”
- Ask everyone which product is their favorite.
- If you have past customers attending, ask them how long they’ve been purchasing, and what is their favorite product.
- Get everyone excited about your Black Friday Holiday event. Hand out catalogues and Business cards for everyone to share with their friends.
Checkout Organization. This is important as you everyone is busy and want to place their orders. You don’t have to do ALL cash and carry, as long as they are ordering by your cut-off order date. Set up your
checkout to reflect you are organized and ready to do business.- Have your calendar open with available booking dates
- Have Hostess packets ready to hand to people who book
- Have Recruiting packets available for “hot” prospects for the biz & invite
them to your next Discovery Opportunity call.
- Have referral reward postcards available to send you a referral.
- Have order forms, calculator and pens ready to take orders.
Get Known for your BLACK FRIDAY Event. Make it
special, so people can’t wait to attend. Make sure everyone leaves feeling in the “spirit” and winning some kind of prize. This is a great event to gain customer loyalty and gather new customers. Get your January calendar full and offer a beautiful holiday basket for your first 10 January Hostesses. Leaders take it one step further and Give everyone on the team a challenge to hold a BLACK FRIDAY EVENT and those who sell

I am finally back to reading for the
first 20 minutes when I wake up every morning. It was a habit I developed when I was growing my million dollar team and six-figure income business. One of the most important things I got from this book which I think is incredible advice and that is this..
