Are you focused on spreading "love" this month?   Valentine has become international and it's a great way to share your passion for what you do.  I couldn't resist sharing my two little "loves" in this cute picture of brotherly love.  This week's article has some "love" ideas to help you engage and attract others to learn more about your direct sales business.  In essence, you want to become a "love" magnet this month and attract people who "want" extra income, pay off debt or learn how to grow a business.

 

I have loved being crazy busy scheduling my whole year for 2014.  I created my Biz Vision board and broke down my goals into bite-size chunks.  If you haven't created your own board yet, you can still do it. Designing your Biz Vision board gives you clarity and you get a picture in your mind of what's possible for you.  I loved creating the "Vision to Decision" Work Book & Planner to help you have your most incredible year of 2014. Become a Love Magnet this month.

February is the month of love to share what you love about your business with someone special.  

Someone special is that person at your party who
  • asked you if you had to buy "all" your samples
  • asked you if you spend a lot of nights out holding parties.
  • asked you if you "really" make money in your business.
These are prime prospects who are attracted to you and your business.  They were attracted because you were authentic and genuine and they loved your personality.  You smiled a lot, you offered your help in using your products, and you listened intently when having intimate conversations with your guests.  You were interested in learning about "them"  and being "of service" to them.  This is being a "love magnet" at your parties.

There are so many things to love about your direct sales business. Think back when you first joined direct sales.  You were excited, you were passionate!  You were excited to learn how to grow a business. I started my direct sales business in Hawaii during a recession year. At the time I had three other businesses, I was a busy super mum of three teenagers.  I was on two boards and fundraising committees.  I opened my kit with my "investment group" women.  Someone asked if they could buy the product - I told her I'd figure out how to write up an order. I made a sale.  I mentioned something about doing a party, and a friend asked if I'd bring my products to her outdoor circle board meeting.  I got a booking.  I had no idea what I was doing.  But that's why I love direct sales.  It's a business you can figure out as you grow because of it's proven business model.
 
What I found out that I loved most about my new business was when I helped someone else join, i was building new friendships.  My newest friend was my sponsor who was from Minnesota.  I had only met her the day before I joined.  I started sponsoring in Hawaii and became a leader, then I moved to Colorado, not knowing one person in that city and built a million dollar team across the country of amazing women who became lifelong friends!
 
I learned to become a "Love Magnet" sharing my business opportunity with hundreds of people.  And now, I'm spreading that love in my coaching and consulting business, and with you who are reading this newsletter.  
 
Here are some of the ways I spread the love.
 

  • Love rewarding your team top sales and recruiting at your team meeting. It was my February team meeting where I recognized my top seller who set her sights to sell $100,000 in the previous year and achieved her goal.  It was my pleasure to reward her with our top team incentive gift.
  • Love offering a special "Valentine" gift to your hostesses this month.  Create a Facebook VIP Customer and Hostess group page and offer valentine specials on your page.  Post information how to "love" using your products.
  • Love creating "Valentine" Recruiting Packets. Spruce up your recruiting packets with a big red bow wrapped in a "Godiva" chocolate and a beautiful red rose attached with a hand writing invitation inviting your prospect to join you for a quick cup of coffee next week.
  • Love helping your new recruits blossom in the first 30 days of their business.  Help them have successful launch parties and get a full calendar to receive the new recruit fast start rewards.
  • Love offering 3-way phone calls with your team members and their potential prospects.  Build your pipeline
  • Love meeting new customers and hostesses.  Find the time to networking and be passionate about sharing why you love your business.  Create a jaw-dropping introduction so people will say, "I love it and I need your card immediately."
  • Love setting your monthly budget.  The beauty of a direct sales business is earning the money you want to pay bills or save for something special.
Love being part of an industry that rewards people for helping others.  Plan to be a love magnet this month and attract all the wonderful people and business that's sitting out there just waiting for you.  When you plan you open the possibility for opportunity and as Willa Cather says, "miracles will occur." 

When you share your love, you're adding value to others.  Adding value to others is the path to finding true happiness and fulfillment.
