Aloha Entrepreneurs,

And just like that, the first month of 2026 has quietly slipped by. January has been a month of discovery for me — gently exploring where I truly want to place my energy this year. What surprised me most wasn’t a big plan or bold decision, but a simple realization: I want to be happy wherever I am and learn to enjoy the ride along the way. That’s exactly why my words for 2026 are “Go with the Flow.”

This week, I had the joy of attending our community Hospice Tea — a beautiful reminder of how meaningful human connection can be. I spent time reconnecting with people and meeting new faces whose stories added depth and color to the day. I met a bee keeper, an iron man runner, and a senior in high school from Prague who donated her art.

Those conversations stayed with me. They reminded me how much connection matters. And that’s what inspired this week’s reflection on human connection.

Why Connection Matters more than ever!

One of the things many of us love most about the entrepreneurial journey is freedom.

We choose our own hours.
We decide what we work on.
We build projects that matter to us.
We answer to ourselves.

But there’s one part of working from home that can quietly get overlooked — the human connection.

When you’re building a business solo, it’s easy to underestimate how much connection supports clarity, confidence, and momentum. Working alone doesn’t mean you’re meant to do everything by yourself.
