- There’s the business to run.
- The family to care for.
- The shopping, the decorating, the events… and the meals—oh, the meals.
But with a little foresight and simple structure, you can stay steady, grounded, and purposeful through the busiest season of the year.
I’m incredibly
thankful to be an entrepreneur who works from home.
- Thankful to design my own days.
- Thankful to be my own boss.
- Thankful that I get to serve and support entrepreneurs like you.
Even during chaotic seasons, that gratitude reminds me why consistency matters so much. Here are three questions I encourage my coaching clients to ask themselves to stay consistent during this season. If you can answer these, you’re already ahead of the
overwhelm.
#1 What kind of weekly routine do you have? A weekly plan is the anchor that pulls you out of chaos and back into intention. My clients and I map out specific steps that keep them productive and focused on revenue-generating activities—not just busy work. That includes scheduling:
- project blocks
- follow-up systems
- content
creation
- conversations
- and the non-negotiables that support life and family
What is the best time for you to create your weekly routine?
#2 How do you end your day? This simple habit is a game-changer. Many entrepreneurs I interview in Entrepreneurs Who Work From Home series have a hard stop to their day—and they protect it. The all agree you just pick a time to close the laptop, silence the phone, and call it done.Your work will still be there tomorrow.
What time feels right for you
to shut down your day?
#3 Are you finding time for you? Consistency doesn’t come from grinding—it comes from being recharged.
If you have 5 minutes, would you… take three deep breaths, play your favorite song, sit in the sun, write a gratitude list?
If you have 15 minutes, would you... Read a book, Cuddle with your pet, Take a quick walk, Listen to a favorite podcast
If you have 30 minutes, would you…Journal, Take a relaxing bath, Give yourself a facial or manicure?
Taking care of you is one of the best things you can do for your business this season.
How much time do you allot to self care in your business?
This week’s interview comes from Dubai!
Imagine not speaking English very well and arriving in new York and having to pitch yourself and come across as a professional . This week’s guest, Maria Anokhina,
runs a business called Plan & Pitch. She coaches non-native English speaking professionals and founders on how to communicate with clarity on interviews for jobs and investor pitches. She helps them build their confidence in getting jobs or finding funding for their start-ups around the world.
