A Secret Weapon to getting things done!
As an entrepreneur juggling a business, family, and life’s endless to-dos, time always feels like it’s slipping away. You’re either scrambling to finish last-minute work or wishing you had more time to get things done. That’s exactly why you NEED a weekly POWER HOUR
routine—it’s a game-changer.
I know you’re familiar with a POWER HOUR,
but are you setting them up on a routine basis?
Once I committed to scheduling a POWER HOUR every week, everything shifted. I got more done, stayed ahead
of deadlines, and—most importantly—felt in control of my business.
Why the POWER HOUR Works
✔ It forces you to focus on the most important tasks in your business.
✔It builds consistency, and consistency is what leads to real growth.
✔It helps you follow through with your to-do list. (Need help with to-do lists? Watch my latest video here.)
✔It creates a sense of accomplishment—you set a goal, and you GET IT DONE.
How to Use Your POWER HOUR
Option 1: Deep Focus (One Big Task for 60
Minutes)
If you have a project that needs serious attention, dedicate your entire POWER HOUR to it. Try:
- Growing your email list by setting up lead magnets or joining a bundle.
- Creating a new course or offer that helps your customers.
- Writing a blog post or batch-filming content for YouTube.
- Planning and scheduling social media content.
Option 2: Productivity Sprints (4 x 15-Minute Segments)
Some
tasks don’t require a full hour, but they still need to get done! Try breaking your hour into four 15-minute segments:
- Organize your desk for a more productive workspace.
- Connect with customers or clients—nurture relationships.
- Follow up on emails, messages, and leads—get those conversations moving!
- Do a quick business audit—review finances, content, or strategy.
