Entrepreneurs, is it time to give yourself Permission to Pause?
On my mastermind call this week, someone asked the question, "Is it normal to not go so hard all the
time?"
As entrepreneurs, we often push ourselves to do more—more clients, more content, more hustle. But what if that’s not sustainable, I believe we need to give ourselves permission to pause.
I learned this firsthand while consulting and training in Australia, flying between cities non-stop. Eventually, exhaustion hit, and I had to space out my trainings to avoid
burnout. That small adjustment made all the difference.
The Power of Slowing Down
Pausing doesn’t mean quitting—it means giving yourself space to think, plan, and make smarter decisions. When you slow down, you can:
✅ Gain clarity on what’s working (and what’s not)
✅ Prevent burnout before it happens
✅
Focus on high-impact tasks
Alexa Saarenoja, whom I recently interviewed in my “Entrepreneurs who work from Home” video series, shared how taking on too many clients and creating too much content nearly burned her out. She had to readjust—fewer videos, more intentional work. Now, she
runs her business in a way that’s both effective and sustainable. Check out her interview here
This week I’m sharing a video on Youtube about being confident when you introduce yourself at a networking event, or online in a conversation.
