As I work through my post hip surgery routines in learning how to walk again, I am reminded of the important tasks that need to get done.  If I didn’t have my purposeful planner system in place, I’d be lost.  More on that as you read this newsletter.   

I’m reminded how simple life is when you have a significant other to help you. I’ve found 3  important helpers that get me through every day.  The first is my walker.  I made sure I invested in a good walker, one that is easy to fold and get in the car  to go to Physical Therapy twice a week.  Next is a bag or basket on the front of the walker. This allows me to carry things from room to room, even the little things like taking food out of the refrigerator and make a meal.  You simply can’t carry a glass of water while you’re using a walker.  And, lastly, I have what I call a gripper.  It’s a long handle with a squeezer that picks up practically anything.  So far, I’ve picked up papers that have fallen to the floor, a piece of food and my glasses that fell.  Soon, I’ll do a nice you video about these tips on my you tube channel.
