I decided to do a TIME AUDIT for myself to see exactly how much time I was spending on the specific areas in my business.
There are two types of TIME In your business.
- One is ACTIVE TIME. This is when you’re working on those
IGA’s – Income generating activities that bring money into your business.
- The other is PASSIVE TIME. These are activities that bring NO revenue into your business.
I call it “BUSINESS” versus “BUSY-NESS.”
Some busy-ness is important in helping us stay organized and be prepared for deadlines. We all know those who commit
to, and take responsibility for, their actions achieve the best success.
Putting a dollar value on the “active” activities can help us realize the time we spend working IN our business rather than working ON our business.
Take some time this week (no pun intended) to evaluate where you’re spending most of your time in working your business.
- What areas need LESS of your time?
- What areas need MORE of your time?
-
As you ponder your time this week, I wanted to share one of my favorite NEW YEAR EXERCISES I love to do every year. And every year it changes for me as I’ve crossed a lot of things OFF this list, but there are still more
to do.
And that is my BE, DO, HAVE, LIST!

Have fun compiling this list. DOWNLOAD IT HERE.
Is TIME one of your biggest obstacles in your business?
- Not enough
time?
- Time not planned properly?
- Not tracking or budgeting your time?
- Not prioritizing your time?
- Multi-tasking a lot because you’re too busy?
- Easily distracted and time gets away from you?
- No morning time routine?
- No time for a weekly routine?
- Not enough time to achieve your goals?
There are answers to these questions. Let’s chat
about them. Book a 30 minute TIME MANAGEMENT coaching session and I’ll share with you an exercise that keeps me on tap for managing my time. BOOK HERE.
One more thing, if you missed the recent BUSINESS VISION BOARD workshop, stay tuned… I’ll be
offering a much deeper workshop coming very soon.
Until next week....
