Have you ever felt like your goals need to shift?
It happens to me once in a while and I make a decision to change my goals.
There are four ways people work on achieving their goals.
- There are people
who are results oriented and task oriented and know exactly how they are going to work on achieving their goal.
- There are those who are more people oriented and they are inspired by others so they collaborate and focus on their goal with their help.
- Then are those who are more reserved and very patient and they embrace the slow and steady way to work on their goals step by step.
- There are people who work on their goals very diligently – task by task and love digging into the details to work on
their goals.
Think about it. What way works best for you? Are you gung-ho and work on your goals to the finish, or perhaps you like collaborating with others?
Perhaps you like to take it slowly one step at a time, or maybe you’re that person who digs into the details and makes sure all the tasks are completed one by one;.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU
FIND YOUR GOALS ARE SHIFTING?
Researchers have discovered that the brain is able to discard old goals and adopt new ones when it
receives fresh information.
And that’s what happens when your goals shift. Sometimes they shift because of an interest level. Or perhaps new information makes you decide on a new course of action.
Some people are afraid to alter their goals. They may think they’ve failed at the first goal they set.
However, you’ll find that most successful people set big goals and they aren’t afraid to change their minds, and I think that’s the secret.
That’s why I believe it’s essential to do a review of your business every month. I believe in this so much, I created a MONTHLY REVIEW TEMPLATE for you.
