Aloha Friends, 

I’m back to walking 4 times a week and the mornings have been so spectacular.  We are having a very hot October.  I’m really looking forward to some cold weather.   I share all my morning spectaculars on my Instagram Stories.  How do you feel about Instagram?   I learned in a class that Instagram is the place to show up and be noticed.  It’s not the platform where you get business.  Love to know your thoughts about Insta.  DM me and let’s discuss. 

Have you heard of Ferdinand Magellan?   He was a Portugese Explorer who is best known for planning a course to explore the East Indies across the Pacific Ocean in 1519.  He opened a trade route and discovered a passage from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean which is now called the Magellan Straits.   

What is interesting about Magellan is he had many many setbacks and obstacles in his way.  It took YEARS to achieve his goal.  He was refused funding by his own King of Portugal, but that didn’t stop him.   He traveled to Spain and  after many disappointments, waiting days and weeks and months for an audience, he finally received the nod and was sponsored by the King of Spain.  They say he is credited with masterminding the first expedition to circumnavigate the world. 

Things haven’t changed much since 1519.  We are still   

• “Planning”
• “Setting a path for Success”
• “Masterminding”
• “Overcoming obstacles.”
