HAS YOUR PROSPECT WELL RUN DRY?
Is your team growing? Or are you finding a dry spell in finding prospects?
I RECOMMEND YOU TRY THIS EXERCISE!
THIS IS THE EXERCISE I give my coaching clients in the Journey to Leadership Group Coaching program is to create a PRIME PROSPECT LIST! In this exercise, I ask them to describe their Ideal Prospect. We look at
- Demographics – age range, family, occupation, outside interest, dreams
- Pschyographics – motivation, emotions, solution-oriented, habits
Then, I have them write a list of the character traits they are looking for in an Ideal Prospect. That’s when they come up with the exact words of the person they are looking for.
Some of the character traits I see are:
- Self Starter
- Team Player
- Dependable
- Sales Oriented
When you do this exercise, and write down these words helps you begin to PINPOINT prospects at parties, networking and building connections with customers.
My Ideal Prospect was a D.I.V.A. which stood for
- Decision Maker - knows what she wants
- Influential – knows a lot of people
- Visionista – loves to plan ahead
- Action Oriented – knows how to take action
I knew IMMEDIATELY when I met a D.I.V.A.
She stood out to me and I followed up with my recruiting funnel system. So, if you’re finding yourself having a dry spell, do this quick and powerful exercise!
