One big task was to stay in touch with prospects who want to join by the end of the year! You’re probably thinking you don’t want to bother people right now. They are busy with planning their big
Christmas and holiday events and they wouldn’t be interested in starting a business right now, right?
That’s a big assumption and if you really want to grow your business in 2022, the best way to grow is to have new team members join your expanding team in Jan and Feb.
I was reminded of this after reading my notes from my December hotline. Those were the days when we had no social media, but I had a daily hotline which was a phone message my team would call in for a tip every day. They loved being inspired to learn tips and the best part was they would leave ME a message back.
Every evening I would listen to messages on my HOTLINE! They inspired me also with their intentions to use the tip they heard that day. Here’s my message that inspired them to connect with prospects that resulted in our team growing 67 new team members over the next 3 months.
“Hey Everyone, I hope you’re ready for a fun Christmas holiday this year. At our sales meeting last week, we reviewed 10 easy questions to help you share your business opportunity. Our goal as a team is to have 20 interviews on our calendar this month. Right now, we are at zero, but I know we’ll
catch up. Every day this week, I’ll ask you an easy question about recruiting to remind you to schedule your coffee chat meetings.
Here’s your first question… How many sample packs are there for a new recruit to choose from? Study our brochure and memorize the 2 color palettes for each capsule pack. Pencil in the amounts on which packs you think your prospect might want to order, then get out your calendar and circle the day to
meet with a friend, a customer or a prospect to show brochure and share with them what you love about your business.
Remember, ladies the answer to your success lies within your hands and it starts with a decision and action to just do it! Start slow, find a friend to practice with… take these 4 steps… 1) make an appointment for coffee. 2) gather your “fashion your future” brochure & your 5
sponsorship cards and application form – be prepared for your meeting. 3) make it a friendly fun meeting and ask her lots of questions. If she’s a friend try to find out something about her you never knew.. And 4) show her who you’re looking for. Let your friend know our fashion opportunity would be perfect for stay at home moms, teachers, women in the business world or retired women. This puts no pressure on her, but allows her to become a talent scout for
you. Let’s get those 20 interviews slots filled on our TEAM calendar. The first interview on our calendar gets a special gift from me.”
This HOTLINE tip inspired my team to connect with prospects in these last two weeks of December >>> which resulted in many, many coffee chat conversations about our business opportunity in January & February >>>which resulted in 67 new team members joining in March and April >>> which
resulted in our team becoming the #1 team in the country!
The bottom line here is if you want to grow your team, you have to SHARE your opportunity OFTEN! Right now, people are looking into a NEW YEAR, with new opportunities! So, my challenge to you right now is to get busy, and start sharing! Be excited to share! Schedule them on your calendar now! Get the
word out now! Yes, there will be people are not interested but having these conversations lead to building great relationships with customers who may know others who are looking for an opportunity.
